What is the Faith Hope and Love Foundation?
The Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation is a foundation (non-profit organization) started by an overseas Christian worker with an objective to bring the 3 values of faith, hope, and love to the nations. The foundation does this through classes, lectures, translation, and providing scholarships and housing for high school/ college students in economic hardship.
Why Did FHL select these 3 values?
In today’s world there is a strong need for many things. Among 3 of the biggest things that the world is growing a lack in is 3 specific values. The values of faith, hope, and love. Our foundation plans to help restore these three values to the nations.
With all the catastrophic events that take place in the modern-day world, many people have realized that they need to turn from their selfish ways and put their FAITH in something greater than themselves.
Some of us are born into abundance, while some of us our born into poverty. Both have their respective set of problems. Why has the world become content with letting the problems be the head and not the tail of leadership? Many have lost HOPE that they can make a difference.
What is the one emotion that all of us have felt at least one time in our life, but many of us loose it as we grow older? LOVE is what can conquer everything.
These 3 values of faith, hope, and love together will positively change a world that is growing in wealth but shrinking in values and traditions. The Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation plans to offer products and services that will not be the answer to this situation, but the key to help start the solutions in the nations of the world. Reason #1 In America and many of the nations of the world we can see time and time again the ways of life are changing. The world is becoming faster and more expensive.
What happens to those however who are becoming faster but do not have the money to keep up with expenses? |
Reason #2 “And now these three remain: faith hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” - 1 Corinthians 13:13.
All of us desire to be loved by someone. In today's world love is being found in objects and not in people. This causes a fulfillment in the short run, but in the end the emptiness is still there. This void is being discovered at younger ages every year. |
Reason #3 “Generation." This word use to bring images of a family linkage. Today it is becoming a continual broken linkage. The links become further and further apart not just because of circumstance but a growing up in completely different worlds. The desire to interact with our own family is being replaced by a desire to make more money, again leaving the younger and next generations with an emptiness. |
Reason #4 As more of the world is easier to access, the world is becoming a global village. What happens however when people begin to force their culture as the dominant culture of this "global village". Misunderstandings, dislike, and other aspects occur that are not being dealt with. Cultural education is a must to keep the world growing together and not joining and becoming divided into sections once again. |
Reason #5 The world is full of opportunities. Some people have more opportunities than others, but all of us have some opportunities. So many of us let opportunity pass us by, and worse yet, don't recognize opportunity when it is in front of us. How do we have faith in our decisions? |
Reason #6 Life has ups and downs. No matter how hard life gets, the youth should always know there is hope. |
